Oroville Dam and Spillway Reconstruction Tour
Presented by ACWA Region 2
in Partnership with the State Water Project
The event will kick off on Oct. 23, where attendees will meet at the Feather River Fish Hatchery to depart on an interactive tour that includes stops at the Feather River Fish Hatchery, Oroville Dam & Spillway, and Oroville Dam Visitors Center. Learn from State Water Project experts about the dam and hydroelectric capabilities, while county officials share experiences and perspectives regarding the spillway damage and consequent evacuations in 2017. Finish the tour with lunch and guided or self-guided tours of the Oroville Dam Visitors Center, with interactive exhibits and movie theater.

- Butte County Sheriff Kory Honea will be in attendance- Listen to Sheriff Honea reflect on the physical and emotional impact the spillway damage and evacuations had on surrounding residents.
