ACWA Region 2 & 4 Tour and Program
Connecting Climate, Water & Habitat
Join ACWA Regions 2 & 4 for a joint tour and program exploring the connections between climate, water management, healthy landscapes, fisheries, and habitat restoration.
Start the morning with Solano County Water Agency on a tour of Putah Creek, where attendees will hear firsthand about the agency’s innovative habitat restoration efforts, successes, and lessons learned. Following the tour, attendees will hear from experts on species recovery, fisheries, habitat restoration, and regional projects. In the afternoon, DWR experts will share their insights on weather, hydrology, flood control, climate forecasting, and voluntary agreements.
