Desert Water Agency Announces 2025 Board Members and Positions

Paul Ortega and Kristin Bloomer have started new, four-year terms on the Desert Water Agency Board of Directors. Both were unopposed in the November 2024 election. This is Ortega’s second term on the board, and Bloomer’s third term.

At its January 7, 2025, meeting, the Desert Water Agency Board of Directors conducted its vote of officers.

Director Paul Ortega was reelected to serve as President and Director Jeff Bowman was reelected as Vice President. Director Kristin Bloomer was elected to serve as Secretary-Treasurer.

The reorganization is as follows:

• President: Paul Ortega, Division 4
• Vice President: Jeff Bowman, Division 3
• Secretary-Treasurer: Kristin Bloomer, Division 5
• Director: Gerald McKenna, Division 2
• Director: Steve Grasha, Division 1
