ACWA Committee Appointment Process Underway for 2026-’27 Term
The committee appointment process is officially underway for the 2026-’27 term. Committee appointment information has been emailed to ACWA member agency general managers and board presidents.
To be considered for a committee appointment, a completed and signed Committee Consideration Form must be submitted via email to acwacommittees@acwa.com by Sept. 19. All consideration forms must be signed by an agency’s general manager or board president.
Information about each committee and ACWA’s appointment process is available at online.
Background
ACWA’s Committees are a great way to stay informed and engage in important issues. ACWA has 13 active committees that meet throughout the year, providing key technical, policy and organizational input to the ACWA Board of Directors. The committees bring together expertise and perspectives from across the state on key state and federal issues to help ACWA advocate for members in Sacramento and in Washington D.C.
In submitting names for consideration, please do so with the understanding that committees need active, involved individuals able to expend the time and provide their expertise, if appointed. Please keep in mind that the district is responsible for all costs associated with the participation of its representatives on ACWA Committees.
Questions
For questions about the process, please contact Senior Region and Member Engagement Specialist Ana Javaid at (916) 669-2442.
