Health & Safety Information
- In accordance with Sacramento County and the California Department of Public Health, proof of vaccination or negative COVID test are not required for ‘mega-events’. ACWA’s 2024 Spring Conference & Expo is considered a ‘Mega Event’ under California Department of Health guidelines. ACWA is expecting over 1000 attendees indoors.
- Attendees are not required to wear masks indoors or outdoors. Attendees are encouraged to determine their own personal level of comfort.
- Social distancing is not required though health & safety will continue to guide ACWA’s planning objectives.

Cancellation deadline is April 19, 2024 at 4:30 pm (PT).
All registration changes and cancellations must be made in writing by the event registration deadline. Valid cancellation requests will receive a refund of any registration fees paid minus a $75 processing charge. For payments originally made by credit card, refunds can be issued back onto the credit card within 60 days. Otherwise, a refund will be issued by check. No refunds or registration changes will be granted after the registration deadline. Submit request in writing to Teresa Taylor at TeresaT@acwa.com.
The 2024 ACWA Spring Conference & Expo will take place in Sacramento, CA. from May 7 – 9, 2024 at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center as well as the Sheraton Grand Sacramento and Hyatt Regency Sacramento hotels.
Registration has been restructured to an all-inclusive experience. A full conference registration includes access to all keynote addresses and conference programs, networking meal functions, snack stations, the Exhibit Hall, ACWA-hosted receptions and access to designated on-demand conference recordings.
Because of the all-inclusive pricing, anyone with a registration badge will be able to participate in all ACWA meal functions and snack stations. No separate meal tickets are necessary.
ACWA secures a courtesy hotel block to offer registered conference attendees hotel rooms at a discounted group rate. For the 2024 Spring Conference & Expo, ACWA negotiated with the Sheraton Grand Sacramento and Hyatt Regency Sacramento hotels for the largest hotel room block possible.
Conference registration is required to obtain hotel reservation information.
Absolutely! The Sacramento area is a popular conference location. ACWA recognizes that the hotel rooms held under ACWA’s group room block are filling up quickly at the Sheraton Grand and Hyatt Regency hotels. As a courtesy, we are also providing a list of nearby hotels HERE for your reference. (ACWA group rate is NOT available at these other properties.)
