2025 Region Elections

ACWA’s membership is organized into 10 regions, each of which has a Board of Directors comprised of five to seven members who serve two-year terms. ACWA’s region elections are currently underway and will determine the boards of each region, including the region chair, vice chair and three to five board members. Candidate Instructions

In order to become a candidate, you must submit the following documents by June 20 to elections@acwa.com.

  • A signed resolution of support from your agency’s Board of Directors.
  • A candidate nomination form

In addition to the required documents, you may also send a short biography and a headshot photo; however, these are not required.

Nominating Committees

The Nominating Committee role is to pursue qualified member candidates within the region to run for the Region Board. The Nominating Committee is appointed by the region chair in concurrence with the Region Board during odd-numbered years. The Nominating Committee will select a recommended slate for the region election. The 2025 nominating committees are:
