Welcome to ACWA DC2026, and thank you for joining us in the Nation’s Capital. You are visiting DC at a unique time in history, consisting of extremely narrow majorities in both chambers of Congress. This means your voice matters more than ever to help ensure water policy and your priorities remain in the minds of policymakers as they grapple with pressing issues nationwide.

ACWA’s DC Conference provides an opportunity to learn from the California congressional delegation and the presidential administration on matters including infrastructure investment, regulatory activities, wildfire and headwaters action, water storage and drought resiliency, and other water-related policy issues. These items represent how important it is to encourage the California delegation to collaborate on effective solutions that help solve California’s water problems. When California water succeeds, America prospers.
